What makes photography important for you?

Being a wedding photographer allow me to capture the most important pictures in people’s lives. Think about it, dress will be used for one day and for the rest will stay in closet, cake will be eaten, the confetti swept up, and you won’t remember a lot from the wedding day with time, but the wedding photographs are there forever.

Rumor has it that you’ve been a professional athlete? Is that true?

Yeah, before starting photography, I’ve been doing Taekwondo (Martial Arts) for 12 years, 6 of them on professional level. I was participating on the World and International championships representing the national team of the country of Moldova, where I spent 19 years of my life. So yeah, it’s interesting how your occupation changes with years.

What made you first start photography?

It’s interesting, but I never thought I would be a photographer. The only reason I started is because I couldn’t find a job on the campus of the University I was studying, and the only available position was photographer for the university scrapbook. So I took several pictures send it to my brother-in-law Ross, he edited them and sent me back, and with those pictures I showed up on the interview and presented my portfolio. Next thing I remember, I was sitting in front of my computer searching for tutorials “SLR Camera for Dummies”.
